 Gina Louise's musical journey began in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, where jazz filled her childhood home. Her father — an accomplished musician who played in celebrated clubs across New York and New Jersey — nurtured her love of music and encouraged her to follow her own voice.

When her family migrated to Australia in 1969, that musical thread travelled with them. Over the next nineteen years, Gina moved throughout the country with her husband, Alistair, working in hospitality and finding music woven into every community they lived in.

Her first real moment onstage came in Ulverstone, Tasmania, when a local country artist invited her to sing. That simple act of encouragement sparked lessons, performances, and a growing confidence in her craft. Gina continued singing in Corowa, NSW, before returning to Tasmania in 2018 to study vocals and songwriting with Jude Elliot.

She later performed as part of Yesterday’s Girls with Robyn Lawrence‑Vick, bringing harmony and nostalgia to audiences throughout the Spring Bay region of Tasmania.

Now based on the West Coast of Tasmania, Gina performs across the region while co‑writing her debut album with lyricist Kerry Sweet and composer Mark Daley. The album is mastered by Mike Raine, completing a creative collaboration shaped by Gina’s lifelong connection to music, community, and the legacy of her musical family.
